Retail Team Manager / Leader – Sandyford / Carrickmines
Our client, an award-winning big box retail chain is seeking to recruit a Retail Team Manager to join their Sandyford or Carrickmines store in South Dublin. The role is ideally suited to an experienced retail manager with a background in fashion, non-food, or grocery retail. Key responsibilities include leading and coaching a strong team, analysing sales reports and taking corrective action and ensuring the best in class in terms of service and standards.
Key responsibilities for this job include :
- Drive the commercial success of your department by setting and achieving sales targets.
- Motivate and empower your team to deliver exceptional results through coaching, mentoring, and regular feedback.
- Create a visually appealing environment that showcases products and attracts customers.
- Monitor sales data and market trends to identify new opportunities for growth and adjust plans accordingly.
- Coordinate with head office and buying teams to optimise inventory management, margin performance, and product availability.
- Develop a high-performing team by fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and accountability.
- Elevate the customer experience by ensuring consistent product knowledge and service excellence across the team.
Skill and qualities essential for this job include :
