Your New RoleAs a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial and contractual management of multiple residential developments from pre-construction through to final account. You will work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting for residential developments
- Manage procurement processes including tendering, contract negotiation, and appointment of subcontractors
- Oversee valuations, variations, and cost reporting throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and manage risk effectively
- Provide commercial input into design development and value engineering
- Mentor junior members of the commercial team and support their professional growth
- Liaise with project managers, site teams, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management

Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related disciplineMinimum 5–7 years of experience in a quantity surveying role, ideally within residential developmentStrong knowledge of construction contractsProven track record in cost management, procurement, and contract administrationExcellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skillsProficiency in relevant software (e.g., CostX, Excel, project management tools)Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamFull driving license and willingness to travel to project sites as requiredWhat You’ll Get in Return
