The goal of each transfer project is to align stakeholders and achieve product efficiencies through DFM, process optimization, sustaining engineering, automation, supply chain improvements, and lean manufacturing methodologies.
We seek an individual to help streamline documentation systems, improve part, item, and BOM creation, and develop clear procedures to ensure accurate data for planning and financial processes.
Job ResponsibilitiesManage new designs from concept to volume manufacturing.Drive product and process improvements as part of a team.Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to ensure new products fit within existing manufacturing capabilities.Become a Subject Matter Expert in specialized processes.Work with TEOA and operations teams to develop processes meeting manufacturing standards.Design and implement manufacturing processes for new products to meet productivity and quality demands.Conduct validations on processes before transfer to manufacturing.Implement technical / system solutions to problems.Maintain high quality and compliance standards per Medical Devices manufacturing requirements.Apply Lean principles to improve key process metrics.Investigate new process technologies for competitive advantage and cost benefits.Manage relationships with technology providers and suppliers.Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are met.Candidate BackgroundEngineering degree or equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience.Strong technical skills and capabilities.Experience in new product introduction is desirable.Proactive, decision-maker with motivation to work independently.Knowledge of ISO and FDA validation requirements, including equipment and process validation.Familiarity with Six Sigma and lean manufacturing principles.Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.Problem-solving skills with innovative, cost-effective solutions.Computer literacy; experience with 3D Modelling and Cagila is a plus.Proven track record of punctuality and attendance.About TE ConnectivityTE Connectivity is a global leader in industrial technology, creating a safer, sustainable, and connected future.
