Reperio has partnered with a company who are looking for a seasoned Mobile QA Automation expert to drive a technical transformation for a well-known, mature business operating in a complex environment.
While the product isn't mobile-first, mobile is becoming an increasingly critical element of the platform. The existing automation framework hasn't evolved to match this shift - it's fragile, unreliable, and suffers from unclear ownership. My client is ready to change that.
The Challenge :
Current test automation is unstable and frequently skippedManual testing is the fallback; confidence in automation is lowThe organisation is motivated to raise QA standards, but needs strong technical leadershipResponsibilities :
Audit the current mobile automation landscapeFix or rebuild as needed, setting a robust technical directionDefine and standardise mobile automation practices across teamsChampion QA best practices for a group of 6 automation engineers plus a wider team of manual testersCollaborate closely with 20 - 30 mobile engineers in a dynamic, matrixed setupRequirements :
Extensive, hands-on experience in mobile test automation, including tools, frameworks, and debuggingProven ability to work independently and establish high technical standardsBackground in large-scale, complex environments with distributed teamsExcellent communication skills; fluent English and experience working in English-speaking teamsConfidence influencing cross-functional stakeholders and earning trust through resultsAdditional Information
