Our Client, a leading Irish Construction Consultancy firm is currently seeking seeking a highly motivated  Senior Project Manager with between 7-10 years client side / consultancy experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise, control and resource projects to ensure successful execution of project
  • Oversee Consultant procurement and deployment within a public and private sector framework
  • Coordinate the Development Budgets, with inputs from the Project Team, for Client approval
  • Act as Employer’s Agent for administration of consultants and appointments
  • Develop and facilitate effective communication between teams
  • Protect the Client’s interests, under various procurement and contracting strategies
  • Take appropriate measures via VM / VE during the various stages of the project cycle

    • Education & Skills Required

  • Degree or Higher in Project Management / Construction Management / Civil or Structural Engineering / Quantity Surveying / Architecture
  • Member of Association of Project Management or Similar
  • Excellent Time Management & Organisational Skills
  • Establishment and Management of Budgets
  • Effective Risk Management

    • Essential Experience

  • 7 + Years Post Qualification Experience
  • Project & procurement Management
  • Public Procurement – beneficial
  • Public Works Contracts
  • Construction & Design Methodologies / Processes
