What you'll do : Design, develop, and operate high-scale applications across the full engineering stack.
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
Apply modern software development practices (serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI / CD, infrastructure-as-code, etc.).
Work across teams to integrate systems with internal systems, Data Fabric, CSA Toolset.
Participate in technology roadmap and architecture discussions to turn business requirements into reality.
Collaborate in a globally distributed engineering team.
Triage issues, debug, and resolve system problems analyzing their sources and impacts.
Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Research, create, and develop software applications to enhance Equifax solutions.
Address scalability issues related to data access and information management.
Participate actively in Sprint planning, retrospectives, and team activities.
What experience you need : Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years of software engineering experience.
Proficiency in Java, SpringBoot, TypeScript / JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
Experience with Cloud platforms : GCP, AWS, or Azure.
Designing and developing cloud-native solutions.
Microservices development using Java, SpringBoot, GCP SDKs, GKE / Kubernetes.
Deploying software with Jenkins CI / CD pipelines; understanding infrastructure-as-code (Helm, Terraform).
UI development skills (HTML, JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap).
What could set you apart : Self-starter with minimal supervision.
Experience with big data processing solutions (Dataflow, Apache Beam, BigQuery, etc.).
Backend technologies like JAVA / J2EE, SpringBoot, SOA, Microservices.
Source control (Git, Github), build tools (Maven, Gradle).
Experience in Agile environments (Scrum, XP).
Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL).
Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).
Developing with modern JDK (v1.7+).
Automated testing (JUnit, Selenium, LoadRunner, SoapUI).
