At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Social Care Manager to join our client’s growing team based in Carlow. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Social Care Manager to make a real impact in an innovative and growing organization.

Your new role includes :

• Providing leadership and management to a team of social care professionals.
• Ensuring the home meets all standards set by HIQA (Health Information and Quality Authority) and other relevant authorities.
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring individual care plans and placement support plans in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Leading regular team meetings, supervision, and performance appraisal as well as managing staffing rosters, recruitment, training, and professional development of team members.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Liaising with social workers, families, schools, therapists, and external agencies to ensure holistic care.

Experience you need :

• Minimum 5 years of postgraduate Social Care experience
• Minimum Level 7 degree in Social Care, or other related courses
• Experience in a managerial role beneficial
