This position is perfect for someone with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and an interest in refurbishing and recycling electronic devices. The successful candidate will be responsible for device refurbishment, job planning, and various operational tasks. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining efficient workflows and supporting operational tasks within the business. Key Responsibilities Device Refurbishment & Recycling : Refurbish and recycle electronic devices in accordance with company processes. Troubleshoot and repair faulty devices to restore them to working condition. Maintain an inventory of recycled devices and ensure proper disposal of electronic waste in line with environmental regulations. Operational Support : Assist with general office operations, including data entry, report generation, and document management. Support the team with logistical tasks related to device storage, labelling, and inventory management. Perform quality checks on refurbished devices and ensure they meet required standards. Computer Literacy & Excel Proficiency : Use computer systems and software to track and document refurbishment and recycling activities. Update databases and logs accurately and in real-time. Use Excel for creating reports, managing data, and generating insights on device performance and recycling progress. Health & Safety Compliance : Ensure all refurbishing and recycling tasks are performed in accordance with health and safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to workplace safety protocols. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Technical Skills : Experience or strong interest in electronics, device repair, or refurbishing technology. Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic devices, including desktops, laptops, and other tech equipment. Computer Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for reporting, data management, and task tracking. Comfortable working with internal databases and other software programs related to job tracking. Attention to Detail : Strong focus on accuracy and quality in refurbishing devices and maintaining records. Communication Skills : Ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments to coordinate tasks and share updates. Organisation : Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at once. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently. Physical Ability : Ability to lift and handle electronic devices (up to 20kg) as part of the refurbishment and recycling process.
