Senior Quantity Surveyor

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in overseeing project cost control, shaping commercial strategy, and mentoring junior team members. This position is ideal for a commercially astute and experienced professional seeking to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic and supportive environment. Responsibilities :

• Oversee full financial management of projects to ensure commercial targets are met.
• Lead subcontractor procurement, management of packages, and payments.
• Prepare and maintain monthly valuations, variation submissions, and cost reports.
• Liaise with project managers and site teams to ensure cost efficiency and accurate forecasting.
• Support in contract administration, negotiation, and compliance.
• Monitor budgets and cash flow, ensuring timely reporting to senior management.
• Drive improvements in reporting systems and commercial practices.
• Mentor junior members of the Quantity Surveying team, helping to build a high-performance, collaborative culture. Requirements :
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Minimum of five years’ post-graduate experience, preferably within a main contracting environment.
• Strong knowledge of PWC and RIAI forms of contract.
• Proficient in Cubit and Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractor accounts and handle complex variations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
