General Operative - Glasnevin, Dublin 11

As a General Operative, you will report to the Yard Supervisor and be responsible for the smooth operation and organisation of the yard and warehouse. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive top-notch service by efficiently managing stock, loading company vehicles, and maintaining a tidy workspace.

Work Schedule :

  • Permanent, full-time contract (39 hours per week).
  • Monday to Friday - Saturday shifts on rotation.

Location :

  • 132 Slaney Rd, Glasnevin, Dublin 9, D11 W729

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Receive, check, and securely store deliveries in line with health and safety guidelines.
  • Keep the warehouse and yard clean, organized, and safe at all times.
  • Identify and report low stock levels to ensure continuous availability of products.
  • Safely operate and maintain the forklift (forklift license an advantage).
  • Pick, pack, and load materials onto company vehicles.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Contribute to security by being alert to potential theft or damage.

    • What You’ll Need :

  • Previous experience in a similar General Operative or warehouse role.
  • Forklift license.
  • Manual Handling Certificate (desirable but not required).
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Knowledge of building materials or plumbing supplies (a plus, but not required).
  • A strong team player with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
