one of Ireland’s leading main contractors in the construction industry are on the lookout for a  Senior Building Services Engineer to join their team based in Limerick . The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Building Services Systems for designated large-scale or multiple smaller projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and adhere to the company’s zero objectives for safety, quality, and energy efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Advocate for the implementation of Building Services Department Management Systems and Procedures, offering technical support, guidance, and oversight to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Foster alignment of the Building Services “Value Proposition” with the Business Units’ and Company’s Vision, Values, and Ambition Objectives.
  • Contribute to the execution of the Building Services Strategy Plan, supporting the Business Units’ goals.
  • Oversee that all MEP Technical and Commercial aspects of project bids are managed according to the Company’s Pre-Construction Manual Procedures.
  • Guide the process of tendering and awarding MEP packages, ensuring compliance with pre-construction and procurement strategies and objectives.
  • Ensure that MEP teams evaluate temporary electrical needs for projects, including load and energy assessments, in accordance with Management System Guidelines

    • Requirements

  • Relevant academic qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related MEP technical field.
  • Over 5 years of experience in managing large-scale projects from inception to completion, with essential experience in hospital projects.
  • IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety Management Training.
  • Higher Diploma or Degree in a Technical or Construction-related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of the MEP supply chain market and the operational dynamics within which the company functions.
