As part of their continued growth, they are looking for a talented Mid-Level PHP Developer to join their development team.
As a PHP Developer, you'll play a key role in developing and maintaining the core e-commerce platform. You'll work alongside a highly skilled team of developers, designers, and product managers to deliver new features, optimise existing systems, and ensure the platform remains scalable and secure as we grow.
Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using PHP (primarily Laravel or Symfony frameworks).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, QA) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Maintain and improve existing codebase with a focus on performance, security, and reliability.
- Integrate third-party APIs and internal services.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to best practices, and support continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
Requirements :
3+ years of professional PHP development experience.Strong experience with modern PHP frameworks ( Laravel, Symfony , or similar).Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.Experience working with MySQL or other relational databases.Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.Good knowledge of version control systems, ideally Git .Understanding of front-end technologies ( JavaScript, HTML, CSS ) is a plus.Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Desirable :
Experience in e-commerce or high-traffic web applications.Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes , or cloud services ( AWS, Azure, GCP ).Exposure to CI / CD pipelines .Familiarity with microservices architectureReperio Human Capital acts as an Employment Agency and an Employment Business.
