Salary : Appointment will be made on Phlebotomy salary scale (€37,414 - €48,507, LSI €49,507 ) at a point in line with Government pay policy.
Hours of work : Part time 17.5 hours

ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary : A panel may be formed in which the successful candidate(s) will fill vacant posts in a Permanent / Specific Purpose / Fixed Term capacity.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing the duties of a qualified Phlebotomist which includes providing a quality blood sample for laboratory analysis.
Flexibility and adaptability are essential with regard to working hours as the Phlebotomy Department provides a 7 day phlebotomy service, which includes in-patients and the out-patient department in both Beaumont and St Joseph's Hospitals and the Accident and Emergency Department.
The Phlebotomy team provides a vital service to the hospital.
Good teamwork is essential for the operation of this department.
