We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory levels of parts and PPE for on-site use. This role is focused on inventory control rather than general warehouse duties and is key to supporting operational continuity and workplace safety across the site. Key Responsibilities : Inventory Management : Maintain and control stock levels for approximately 4,000 spare parts and all site PPE. Conduct regular stock monitoring and initiate replenishment as needed. Ordering and Replenishment : Place purchase orders to replenish stock based on usage and stock levels. Ensure timely reordering and availability of PPE stock Receiving and Booking In : Receive deliveries, unpack goods, verify against delivery documentation, and book stock into the inventory system to ensure accurate quantity tracking. Label items appropriately and store in designated locations. Cycle Counting : Conduct monthly cycle counts of approximately 400 items to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies. System Management : Update and maintain inventory records in the companys stock management system. Monitor usage trends and provide data-driven insights to improve stock efficiency. PPE Management : Oversee weekly replenishment of PPE items, ensuring stock levels are maintained and distributed as required throughout the site. Key Skills & Experience : Proven experience in an inventory control or stock management role, ideally within an engineering or industrial environment. Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in stock control. Experience using inventory management or ERP systems. Good understanding of stock replenishment processes and cycle counting techniques. Ability to read and interpret delivery documents and match them with system records.
