Senior Financial Accountant

A hugely successful Irish business in the retail and distribution space with a turnover of over €4480m is looking to hire a Senior Financial Accountant.

As Senior Financial Accountant, you'll act as a true business partner, collaborating closely with senior leadership to support strategic decisions, deliver financial insight, and ensure best-in-class reporting and analysis. You'll have visibility across the full breadth of the division and gain hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, KPI analysis, and commercial finance.

Responsibilities :

Partnering with commercial and operational teams to drive business performance

Delivering timely, insightful management reporting and analysis

Supporting strategic planning, budgeting, and in-year forecasting

Leading cash flow analysis, working capital reviews, and supporting funding queries

Developing and enhancing divisional reporting structures

Playing a key role in audit, statutory reporting, and financial process improvements

Supporting ad hoc projects with commercial and strategic impact

Experience :

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with at least 3 years' PQE

Commercially aware, with strong analytical skills and a hands-on attitude

A confident communicator, comfortable engaging with non-finance stakeholders
