Are you an experienced machine operative with strong leadership potential? Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Grade 2 Machine Operative to join their dynamic team on the PIR Line.

Key Responsibilities :

Operate machinery to high standards across all areas of the factory

Set up machines efficiently to ensure timely start-ups

Lead and guide MO1-level operatives; support their training and development

Maintain excellent housekeeping and ensure safe waste disposal practices

Record accurate data and uphold high quality standards

Report issues promptly to Shift Coordinators and Leaders

Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth shift transitions

Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and guidelines

Support problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts to reduce downtime

Take on additional duties and flexible hours when required

What We're Looking For :

Proven experience in a machine operative or similar production role

Strong leadership potential and a proactive work ethic

Excellent team player with the ability to work independently

Good communicator with solid problem-solving skills

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
