Job Description Summary : Responsible for the analysis, design, development, and delivery of software solutions.
Define requirements for new applications and customization adhering to Mastercard standards, processes, and best practices.
Develop, customize, and test applications to integrate with Mastercard's specifications.
Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical training to other team members.
Major Accountabilities : Plan, design and develop technical solutions and alternatives to meet business requirements in adherence with Mastercard standards, processes, and best practices.
Lead day-to-day system development and maintenance activities of the team to meet SLAs and create solutions with high innovation, cost-effectiveness, high quality, and faster time to market.
Manage the full systems development lifecycle including requirements, design, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Perform system maintenance, incident management, root cause analysis, and on-call support.
Research and evaluate current and emerging technologies and frameworks.
Participate in Proof of Concepts and support vendor solution selection.
Collaborate with vendor resources and conduct knowledge sharing sessions.
Ensure quality standards and process adherence throughout SDLC.
Coordinate offshore development activities.
Education : Bachelor's degree in information systems, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Knowledge / Experience : 3 to 5 years of experience with Java and Spring Framework.
Experience in delivering secure solutions in Financial Services is preferred.
Understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies.
Skills / Abilities : High energy, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Willingness to learn and take on challenging opportunities.
Corporate Security Responsibility : Abide by Mastercard's security policies.
Ensure confidentiality and integrity of accessed information.
