Job description

Responsibilities (Text Only)- Modernization of workflows that support the publishing pipeline and future automation orchestration.

  • Design, write and deliver software to improve automation, availability, reliability, scalability, security, resiliency, and efficiency of complex distributed systems.
  • Debug / troubleshoot the complete stack of publishing services, drive analysis of issues and outages, write software and build automation to resolve production problems with durable system fixes.
  • Design and implement telemetry, service observability solutions, and analytics that provide real-time feedback and health of supported solutions.
  • DevOps responsibilities for Live site - support what we build.
  • Review and influence ongoing design, architecture, standards and methods for operating software defined network services and systems; assess design and code changes to drive improvements.Qualifications (Text Only)Required Qualifications : - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python - OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Software Engineering, directly supporting Services development & test in a high-scale production environment.
  • You understand how to use concepts like abstraction and inversion of control to ship testable, reliable, and maintainable code - C#, C++\C, Python or Java.
  • Capable of technical deep dives into service and systems design, data processing and data movement pipelines, networking, storage, monitoring, security, and capacity planning.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability to deliver projects and results of increasing technical complexity and ability to handle ambiguity.
  • Ability to pick up new technologies and stay on the cutting edge of development.
  • Experience building web service and restful designs are a plus.
  • Experience in Azure is a plus.

Other Requirements : Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and / or government security screening requirements are required for this role.

These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings : - Microsoft Cloud Background Check : This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire / transfer and every two years thereafter.
