Fresh Food Area Manager – Leinster

Excel Recruitment is seeking a dynamic and experienced Fresh Food Area Manager to oversee the operations of our client’s fresh food departments across the Leinster region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fresh food, deli, or catering, with a proven track record of managing multiple sites and driving performance improvements.

Salary : €45k – €50k

Responsibilities :

Oversee and manage the performance of fresh food departments across multiple locations in the Munster region
Ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer service are maintained
Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and profitability
Train, mentor, and support staff to achieve operational excellence
Monitor and analyse financial performance, preparing reports for senior management
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Liaise with suppliers to ensure consistent product availability and quality

Requirements :

Extensive experience in a fresh food, deli, or catering environment

Proven track record of managing multiple sites or departments

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Financial acumen and experience in budget management

A proactive and results-driven approach
