About the Hermitage Medical Clinic

The Role
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Radiotherapy team. The role will report to the Radiotherapy Services Manager. The Radiotherapy Department is a busy department, treating and caring for more than 60 patients daily. We have three treatment areas and three Radiation Oncologists whom have clinics on a weekly basis. The Radiotherapy Administrator will be the first person to meet and greet our patients and look after their initial needs.
This is a full time, permanent role.
- Provide excellent customer service of clinical services including the Patients, Consultants, Consultants Secretaries and staff.
- Manage correspondences, relay messages to appropriate person / s.
- Schedule Radiotherapy bookings as requested by the Radiation therapists and Radiation Oncologists.
- Update and maintain information on relevant Mosaiq, Meditech and Cris IT Systems.
- Ensure accurate inputting of information on to systems.
- Liaise with Medical Records Department to ensure retrieval of charts as required.
- Liaise with Finance Department on ensure correct invoicing of all procedures.
- Support and preparation of weekly activity targets.
- Attend meetings and may be required to take minutes.
- Ensure all examinations required are registered correctly.
- Will be required to wear uniform.
The Person
Essential requirements for the ideal candidate :
Minimum 2 years' experience in AdministrationFamiliar with a computerised patient information systemsThe ability to interact and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary staff members within the Hermitage Medical Clinic.Flexibility / adaptabilityGood Microsoft office skills to include MS Word and ExcelExcellent written, verbal communication skillsGood time management and organisation skillsAbility to remain confidential with patient informationAbility to have empathy with patientsPractice high standard of customer service and careDesirable requirements for the ideal candidate :
