Software company based in South Dublin looking to hire a Senior Application Support Engineer :

Salary - €50-55k + benefits

On-site - South Dublin (Hybrid after 6 month probationary period).

Evening shift, Monday - Friday 2pm-10.30pm.

Please note all applicants must have a European passport, Stamp 1G or Stamp 4, as sponsorship is not available at this time.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide timely application support and troubleshoot technical issues for customers.
  • Collaborate with DevOps team to analyze and address root causes of issues and improve processes.
  • Monitor application performance, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
  • Implement automation and enhance DevOps practices.
  • Document troubleshooting steps and share knowledge to promote continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends related to application support and DevOps practices.

Your Profile :

  • Computer Science or Engineering degree.
  • Senior application support experience in Enterprise or SaaS companies, focusing on complex software troubleshooting and problem resolution, and ERP queries.
  • Proficient in DevOps practices, including CI / CD, automation, and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with DevOps tools, particularly Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Azure Cloud.
  • Skilled in defining metrics, SLIs, SLOs, and utilizing them for rollbacks and disaster recovery.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and expertise in Root Cause Analysis reporting.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities, meeting tight deadlines, and working well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven record of process improvement and automation implementation.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a dedication to delivering exceptional support.
  • Relevant DevOps certifications or related credentials are advantageous.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English with eligibility to work in Ireland.
