Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative Unique opportunity has just opened in North Dublin to work with one of the nations leading suppliers of domestic, commercial, and industrial products. This role offers Monday to Friday working hours, monthly pay, and a full-time contract with an immediate start for the successful applicant. As a successful candidate, you will be an experienced operative who can expertly operate the counterbalance forklift with confidence. Previous warehouse experience is paramount, along with holding a valid forklift license alongside a manual handling certificate. Experience with products such as heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units is a distinct advantage. In this role, you will be expected to partake in general warehouse duties, which will include picking, packing, and assisting with inventory tasks when required. You will also be expected to operate the counterbalance forklift to load and unload customers' products in a safe manner. Responsibilities : Operate counterbalance forklifts to load and unload vehicles. Carry out picking and pack duties for dispatch ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Assist the inventory control team to complete tasks such as cycle counts, stock takes and consolidations. Support inventory management and stock rotation processes. Accurately document inventory using rf scanners. Adhere to the companys health and safety procedures Using warehouse management systems (WMS) when required. Report any operational or safety issues to senior management. Requirements : Previous experience with counterbalance forklift operation and the required license. Manual handling certificate desired. Proven experience in a warehouse environment. Proficient in heavy lifting and adept at performing manual labour tasks. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
