An opportunity has arisen to join our radiology team as a locum sonographer.

There is mid-week & weekend availability in line with departmental requirements.

The successful candidate will

• Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations while ensuring patient comfort and care
• Lead the daily running of the scheduled imaging list, including vetting referrals and managing workflow
• Provide preliminary reports of scans which will be second read by radiologists
• Report any malfunction of defects in equipment to the radiology services manager or deputy
• Be able to recognise and report any erratic or defective performance of equipment
