Our Purpose Title and Summary Site Reliability Engineer Summary :

The Customer and Reference Data Management BizOps team is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to help solve problems, build our CI / CD pipeline, and lead Mastercard in DevOps automation and best practices.

Responsibilities include : Engage in and improve the entire lifecycle of services—from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement.

Analyze ITSM activities and provide feedback on operational gaps or resiliency concerns.

Support services before they go live and maintain them post-launch by monitoring system health.

Scale systems sustainably via automation and push for reliability improvements.

Support and lead application CI / CD pipelines, promoting software through environments with validation and operational gating.

Practice sustainable incident response and conduct blameless postmortems.

Work with global teams across geographies and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications : BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience with algorithms, data structures, scripting, and software design.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and ownership skills.

Experience with languages like Python, Java, C++, or similar.

Knowledge of distributed systems and industry-standard CI / CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven.
