Warehouse Operative

Our Client are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Warehouse Operative to join their growing team. This role involves handling the day-to-day operations of goods in and out, maintaining high housekeeping standards, and ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently to support the continuous development of their service levels. Responsibilities : Load and unload trailers, completing all necessary paperwork accurately. Carry out all duties in line with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) guidelines. Scan, record, and sort incoming and outgoing freight. Pick, stage, and prepare orders for dispatch, checking against relevant documentation. Perform general warehouse tasks and maintain a clean and organized workspace, including yard areas. Match incoming deliveries to delivery dockets. Follow instructions and complete tasks as directed by the Warehouse Manager. Safely load vehicles for outbound deliveries. Key Requirements : A valid counterbalance forklift license is essential. Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment. Familiarity with warehouse inventory systems and documentation. Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Good communication skills and a positive attitude. Proficient in both spoken and written English.
