Job Overview : We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Assistant to join our team. This role involves a variety of tasks related to the operation of our launderette, including sorting, washing, drying, folding clothes and linens. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, good organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Key Responsibilities : Machine Operation : Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment according to established procedures. Customer Service : Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, assisting them with inquiries and ensuring a positive experience at the launderette. Cleaning and Maintenance : Maintain cleanliness and organization of the launderette, including regular cleaning of machines and work areas. Quality Control : Inspect finished laundry to ensure quality standards are met before returning items to customers. Qualifications and Skills : Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to lift and move heavy laundry bags and loads as required.
