Accounts Payable Specialist

Kilmacanogue, Wicklow

As an Accounts Payable Specialist , you will have responsibility for the following :

Accounts Payable Specialist Duties :

  • Matching invoices & delivery dockets in order to process.
  • Processing of AP invoices / credit notes on Epos, M4A and Oracle.
  • Supplier Set Up's / Updating Bank details
  • Monthly creditor reconciliations for all accounts.
  • Preparing an Accruals list and Quarter End files for the Financial Controller.
  • Preparing the monthly / weekly payment run -
  • Preparing the commission figures for the various concessions within the Avoca branches.

Key Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years accounts payable or similar experience.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated knowledge of general accounting procedures
  • Be professional, punctual and organized.
  • Proactive, practical, and flexible approach to work
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and use discretion to multitask.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient IT Skills, (particularly Microsoft Excel)
  • Ability to work in a team and on own initiative.
