Housekeeper / Waiting Staff

Housekeeper / Waiting Staff required to work at Shelleven House.

Responsibilities

Cleaning and servicing the guest house including rooms and all public areas as directed by the Manager.

Complete tasks such as making / changing beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, cleaning and mopping floors, , dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures.

Ironing using a roller press, plus a variety of other cleaning tasks.

Cleaning and resetting tables and keeping all areas of the dining room and kitchen neat and tidy.

Breakfast serving duties include meeting & greeting guests in the dining room and taking orders.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

Must be able to work in a team and without supervision

Exceptional cleaning standards are essential with an eye for detail as well as good customer service skills

Be able to carry out and implement instructions without fail to the highest standards and complete accuracy

Previous Housekeeping / Waiting or Care Home cleaning experience preferred

Applicants must be flexible, reliable with a good record of time keeping
