Project Environmental Scientist

The role

will involve undertaking site-based work throughout Ireland, which may include working away from home for short periods (including occasional night-time and weekend hours) and attending Client sites and meetings, as required.

While SLR offers the opportunity for agile working it is envisaged that this role would require regular attendance in SLR’s Dublin office, and the use of laboratory facilities at the office.

What you will need :

Candidates should be able to demonstrate :

• Relevant degree level qualification (Environmental Science or similar). A master’s level qualification and / or previous professional experience working in a similar role is desirable.
• Formal academic training in Environmental Science and ideally an understanding of Environmental Monitoring principles and techniques.
• Some experience with CAD and GIS would be desirable, but on the job training can be provided;
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
• Full current driving licence valid in the EU.
