Your New Role There are currently several requirements across different locations for finishing managers.Dublin City Centre / South Dublin / North Dublin. The projects are mainly large mixed-use developments to apartments.
This position can either be paid on an hourly basis or on a direct salary.
As a Finishing Foreman, you will be required to demonstrate capability and experience in dealing with and managing challenging projects. This position is for an ambitious, experienced carpenter / foreman looking to progress their career. You will have excellent communication skills with a proven record of working and managing (be it small teams) on projects within the Irish / UK construction industry. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, on budget and to the highest quality and safety standards.You will be supported in your role by other management members within the organisation and career progression is very available. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established main contractor with a pipeline of works for the next several years.
What You'll Need To Succeed In order to be successful in this position, you must have previously been in a management position with a construction contractor. This can be as a lead carpenter / working foreman or finishing foreman.Coming from a carpentry trade background, it is sought-after while having a keen eye for detail and a natural flair for the management of trades and labour. You must be able to work on your own initiative and have a high respect for on-site health & safety. This role will suit a long-time carpenter / working foreman or someone experienced in a Foreman / Finishing position over the last 5+ years.
What You'll Get in Return In return for the above, you will work for a main construction contractor who values their employees and offers a clear progression path to more senior management levels. They have great reputations within the industry and have very strong senior management in place - delivering high-profile projects. You will be paid either by the hour or on a salary . Hourly rates are in a bracket of €28 to €40 per hour (typically 50 hour weeks - good money to be made). This would include PAYE OR Self-Employed setup . This would also include time and a half etc .
In terms of the offered salary, this would be in the region of €70,000 to €75,000 and would come with a vehicle / travel . Pension and additional benefits are usually offered in packages of this type.
