The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Corporate Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality financial advisory and support across a range of corporate finance transactions. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to provide strategic insights, financial analysis, and transaction execution, with involvement in both sell-side and buy-side mandates across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support sell-side mandates by advising clients on divestitures, MBO’s and other transaction exits, preparing marketing materials, and managing sales processes.
  • Support buy-side mandates including target identification, valuation, due diligence, and acquisition analysis to assist clients in strategic acquisitions or investments.
  • Conduct industry and company research to identify potential clients and targets across various sectors such as technology, healthcare, manufacturing, and services.
  • Prepare and review financial models, business valuations, and transaction analyses for both sell-side and buy-side transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of pitch books, offering memorandums, and client presentations tailored to sector-specific opportunities.
  • Collaborate with legal, tax, and other advisory teams to ensure smooth transaction execution.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure client satisfaction and compliance.
  • Support deal negotiations, including valuation and structuring, to optimize client outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, regulation, and best practices in corporate finance, particularly in sectors relevant to clients.

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant Corporate Finance experience, including exposure to sell-side and buy-side mandates.
  • Proven experience in executing transactions across various sectors.
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing client relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.
  • Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, CFA, CFA Level I / II, ACCA, or relevant postgraduate qualification) is desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional finance accreditation is a plus.
