Finance Manager (Part-Time, Contract) Location : Dublin City Centre (Hybrid : 1 day in office weekly) Salary : €80,000 - €90,000 pro rata Contract : 12 months minimum Working Hours : 3 days per week (flexible) Our client, the Irish entity of a global insurer, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their Dublin-based finance team on a part-time contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with insurance sector experience to step into a key role supporting the Financial Controller and taking ownership of critical reporting responsibilities during a period of internal transition. This position plays a pivotal role in supporting regulatory and financial reporting deliverables. You will work closely with the Financial Controller and act as a bridge between them and the broader finance team offering continuity and leadership as the business evolves. Your Role Acting as a key point and providing hands-on support to the Financial Controller Taking ownership of regulatory and financial reporting tasks, including Solvency II and group submissions Collaborating closely with finance colleagues to improve internal workflows and reporting efficiency Playing a lead role in preparing finance material for board and committee packs Supporting the implementation of system / process enhancements as the company continues to scale Participating in cross-functional and ad hoc finance projects as needed Your Skills A recognised accounting qualification and a background in the insurance industry (non-life preferred) Experience working with Solvency II and regulatory reporting frameworks; BMA exposure is a bonus A collaborative mindset with the confidence to step into a leadership role Advanced Excel skills and ease with finance systems or ledger tools A proactive, adaptable approach, someone who can step in and add value quickly Comfort with hybrid working and the flexibility to support the team on key days Why This Role?
