Head of Services MSP - Dublin

We’re hiring on behalf of a forward-thinking MSP looking for a hands-on technical leader to own and evolve their entire tooling ecosystem — both internally and across their client base.

This is an ideal role for a Level 3 Engineer or a very strong L2 engineer in an MSP who’s ready to step into a more strategic, autonomous role. You’ll be the decision-maker for all internal platforms (RMM, PSA, documentation, quoting, security) and the full client-facing stack (cybersecurity tools, backup, endpoint management). Think of it as the MSP equivalent of a Technical Architect or CTO — but with far more room to shape systems, standards, and future direction.

Requirements

What You’ll Do

Own, optimise, and secure all internal tooling (PSA, RMM, documentation, quoting, billing, automation).

Act as internal product owner for all client-facing platforms and toolsets.

Drive automation, AI, and scripting to streamline operations and reduce manual work.

Lead security and compliance best practices (ISO27001, GDPR, vendor governance).

Collaborate closely with Sales, Tech, and Finance teams to align tools with business goals.

Influence and update internal standards as part of the leadership team.

You’ll Bring

Experience in a managed services or IT solutions environment.

Strong technical background with internal systems, SaaS platforms, and tool integration.

Working knowledge of automation (e.g. Power Automate, scripting) and modern AI tools. You must have proven experience of Automating a project. We don't mind what automation tool you use, be it PowerShell, or Power Automate or whatever as long as you can describe how you automated a project.

A mindset for continuous improvement and high operational standards.

Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO27001,) is a plus.

Excellent salary on offer with basic from Euro 70,000 to Euro 80,000 with bonus & pension & benefits.
