Prophet Model Developer

My client is actively looking for a Senior Prophet Model Developer for a long term daily rate contract based in Dublin. Remote working is an option for this role. Our client is looking for a very experienced Prophet model developer, a subject matter expert in Prophet development, someone with a deep knowledge of Prophet coding who has held senior roles in Prophet development and ideally has experience in long-term project delivery. Experience Significant experience in Prophet model development and long-term project delivery. Insurance / Reinsurance industry experience mandatory Skills Prophet developer. Cashflow modelling. Actuarial systems. Project work and change management ideally experience in a senior role in Prophet development. Setting, managing and reporting on work plans. Ideally some of : Expertise in wider Prophet modelling infrastructure. Data management and analysis. Process development and process improvement initiatives. Actuarial reporting [Financial reporting (e.g., IFRS, GAAP), capital reporting (e.g., Solvency 2, LICAT), performance monitoring]. Technical skills requirements Strong technical ability with extensive experience in Prophet model development. More specifically : Scoping and planning Prophet model changes. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure the impact of solutions and track their success. Analyse the outcomes and make adjustments as necessary to maximize their benefit. Building Prophet models and model functionality from scratch. Considering the appropriate MPF and Table framework. Considering the design of the model that allows scalability for future developments. Adhering to Prophet best practice. Modifying (enhancing and / or streamlining) existing model functionality. Including efficiency improvements on runtime / output size. Building and applying comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the integrity of new models. Testing should be proportionate / considered / transparent / accurate. Testing should use analytical skills and a keen attention to detail. Building and applying comprehensive documentation frameworks to support the transparency and understanding surrounding new models. Documentation should be accessible to non-model developers and identify the key messages of a model change clearly. Limitations of a development should be clearly flagged also. Successfully releasing new models to the relevant stakeholders with the support of the above testing and documentation. Ensuring that new model release lands correctly relies on excellent communication and the ability to explain complicated features in plain English. Working as part of a larger project and understanding where model development sits within that project. Challenging aspects of the model development plans based on experience, e.g. design decisions, timelines etc. Experience in other modelling adjacent software is an advantage (e.g. SQL, VBA, DCS, PowerBI). Experience in data management / experience studies / asset liability modelling is an advantage.
