Security Staff The George, Dublin City PSA Licence Required The George, one of Dublins most iconic LGBTQ+ venues, is looking for professional, reliable, and welcoming Security Staff to help maintain a safe, inclusive, and vibrant environment for everyone who walks through our doors. This is your opportunity to join a legendary team at the heart of the citys nightlife. What Youll Be Doing : Ensuring the safety and security of all guests, performers, and staff throughout the venue, including the bar and event spaces. Maintaining a visible, friendly, and reassuring presence on the floor and at entry points. Managing queues, controlling access, and responding to any issues with professionalism and discretion. Supporting the team during busy nights and events, including crowd control and incident prevention. Assisting with emergency procedures, first aid situations, and evacuations when necessary. Working closely with venue management to uphold policies and foster a respectful and inclusive atmosphere. Conducting regular checks and patrols to ensure all areas remain secure and orderly. Requirements : A valid PSA (Private Security Authority) licence this is essential. Previous experience in bar, club, or event security is a strong advantage. Calm, confident, and respectful in high-energy environments. Strong interpersonal and communication skills approachable, yet firm when needed.
