Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced Deli Manager on behalf of our client – a well-established, store in County Wicklow.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and driven deli or fresh food professional to step into a busy, customer-focused environment. You’ll lead the deli team, manage all aspects of fresh food service, and drive sales, standards, and performance.

Duties & Responsibilities :

Manage all aspects of daily deli operations in a fast-paced store

Lead and train the deli team, manage rosters, and maintain staff motivation

Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, and hygiene regulations

Monitor stock control, waste, margins, and merchandising

Deliver excellent customer service and high-quality food presentation

Achieve and exceed daily and weekly sales targets and KPIs

Requirements :

2+ years’ experience as a Deli Manager or Fresh Food Supervisor

In-depth knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and compliance

Experience leading a team in a retail or hospitality environment

Strong focus on fresh food, quality, and customer service

Organised, results-driven, and comfortable in a hands-on role

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
