Oliver James is exclusively partnering with a prestigious global investment manager to recruit an experienced Investment Controller focused on Private Credit and Semi-Liquid Funds.

This is a high-impact role suited to fund accounting, controlling, or audit professionals with hands-on experience in semi-liquid fund structures. The position offers direct responsibility for NAV oversight, liquidity management, and investor reporting within a dynamic and evolving investment platform.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee, manage, and review NAV and investor reporting processes for semi-liquid private equity funds, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to clients and stakeholders

Monitor and manage the fund's liquidity profile, ensuring sufficient liquidity and effective cash flow management to support investment decisions and operations

Act as the primary point of contact for the fund, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth investment controlling processes

Support audit processes and liaise with auditors and third-party administrators

Review and implement best practices for validating fund financials, liquidity analysis, valuations, and performance reporting

Lead strategic projects to enhance reporting processes and optimise semi-liquid fund operations

Provide technical guidance on fund accounting, liquidity structuring, and credit investment operations

What We're Looking For

Experience in private credit fund accounting, controlling, or auditing, with a strong focus on semi-liquid fund structures

Strong working knowledge of open-ended programmes, including share classes, subscriptions / redemptions, and end-to-end NAV production

Understanding of credit-type investments and how they operate from a cash flow, valuation, and operational perspective

Experience with cash and hedging management across fund structures

Ability to work within a dynamic, evolving operational setup involving multiple systems and third-party administrators

Detail-oriented with a bottom-up understanding of fund financials and reporting
