About the Global Statutory Audit Team

Our Global Statutory Audit department is a specialist team that services large-scale multinational companies (MNCs) with centralised and coordinated audit solutions. Our diverse and experienced teams are built to solve complex challenges and deliver outstanding results for international clients.

As an Associate Director , you will take a senior leadership role within the Global Statutory Audit team, overseeing a diverse portfolio of international clients. You’ll be directly involved in delivering Irish and UK audits while coordinating global statutory audit engagements across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a portfolio of global statutory audit clients, ensuring quality, consistency, and excellence in delivery

Deliver Irish / UK audits while project managing global engagements via our international network

Oversee audit teams, including managers, assistant managers, and seniors

Liaise with clients at planning, closing, and throughout the audit lifecycle

Supervise complex audit areas (e.g. revenue recognition, share-based payments)

Provide technical guidance and review work papers to ensure compliance with standards

Support resource planning, team management, training needs, and staff development

Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for added value

Assist in preparing proposals and presentations for prospective clients

Promote a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement

Skills and Attributes

ACA / ACCA qualified with at least 6 years’ post-qualification experience in audit

Experience with a top 10 professional services firm

Proven audit expertise with large Irish or multinational entities

Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and Irish GAAP (US GAAP is a plus)

Skilled in managing teams, delivering to deadlines, and mentoring junior staff

Proficient in electronic audit platforms and documentation tools

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills

Commercially aware with a solutions-driven mindset
