Job Summary
This role exists to support the management of an effective and high-quality cleaning operation at the client site.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting into the Cleaning Services Manager, you will support a team of managing a team of 65+ people including weekend / cover / relief staff on daily basis, delegate tasks and set deadlines in our client's site ensuring the delivery of KPI's, SLA's and service desk requirements which are set out within our contract.
- Assist the site Cleaning Services Manager to manage the service within the budget allowed for cleaning services within the site to encompass labour, cleaning materials, equipment, and consumables.
- Ensure that all staff on site receive the training required such as company and client Induction training.
- Responsible in completion of weekly rosters for the site and accurately captured within time and attendance system in accordance with budget.
- Deal with all aspects of the recruitment process, staff and performance management including the disciplinary procedures.
- Reply to emails daily and delegate tasks to responsible teams.
- Liaise with facilities team / engineer team to ensure a speedy resolution of any issues or faults.
- Ensure that control measures and Health and Safety processes to ensure a safe working environment for all our employees and client staff and visitors.
- Develop a productive workforce that is customer focused.
- Build on client relationships onsite developing retention strategy with the venue.
- Provide your onsite Cleaning Services Manager with a monthly report of activity, progress, and issues.
- Conduct weekly cleaning audits on-site with the client, ensuring cleaning standards are met and addressing any issues.
- Carry out regular evening site visits to monitor operations, safety compliance, and overall site conditions.
- Check performance of external contractors (e.g., PHS, Aqua Clean), ensuring service quality and compliance.
- Arrange site access and permits for contractors, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
- Process access requests for new employees and contractors, ensuring proper authorization.
- Organise cover for absent staff to maintain smooth operations.
- Hold weekly meetings with site supervisors and monthly meetings with the full team to review performance and updates.
- Accept opportunities for continuing training where provided by Samsic Facility.
- Be aware of one's own responsibilities towards health and safety.
- Act as an ambassador of Samsic Facility at all times with colleagues and members of the public.
- Adhere to the Data Protection policy on all aspects of data safety and storage.
