Purpose of the Role
The purpose of the post is to provide improved access to clinical genetics and genomics in the regions in line with the implementation of the National Strategy for Accelerating Genetic and Genomic Medicine in Ireland. This post will contribute to the provision of a comprehensive, high quality, genetic counselling service by carrying out the duties and responsibilities of a Genetic Counsellor :
