Job Summary :
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Internal Sales Executive to join our team within a leading steel distribution / manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, generating new business, and supporting the external sales team. You will play a key role in driving sales performance and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations and sales proposals.
- Process sales orders accurately and efficiently using our CRM / ERP system.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing customers.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through inbound and outbound communication.
- Liaise with production, logistics, and finance departments to ensure timely delivery and order accuracy.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by management.
- Provide support to the external sales team with market insights and customer information.
- Keep up to date with product knowledge, pricing structures, and market trends.
- Manage customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
Requirements :
Proven experience in internal sales, customer service, or telesales (preferably in the steel or industrial sector).Strong understanding of steel products, grades, and industry applications is desirable.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM / ERP systems.Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
