Your Way to Impact
In this role, you will spearhead analytics initiatives that shape strategic direction, driving growth, profitability, and risk mitigation. You will design, validate, and monitor predictive models and business rules to uncover actionable insights, while delivering data-backed recommendations on new products, policy changes, and operational improvements. By translating complex analyses into clear narratives and intuitive dashboards, you will influence decision-making at all levels and partner closely with stakeholders to ensure analytics solutions are aligned with evolving business needs and deliver measurable impact at scale.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
Analyse large, complex datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities.
Monitor key metrics (e.g., fraud rates, loss ratios, customer KPIs) and develop forecasting models.
Define requirements and collaborate with data engineering and data science teams on data pipelines, model deployments, and platform enhancements.
Design and maintain dashboards and reports (e.g., in SQL, BI tools) to inform real-time decision-making.
Partner with global stakeholders to align analytics priorities and measure impact against targets.
What You’ll Bring
Experience : 6+ years in data science or a related field, preferably within fintech, e‑commerce, or financial services.
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in SQL and Python (or R) for data querying, analysis, and automation
Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI) and cloud data platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake)
Understanding of fundamental statistical and machine learning concepts (e.g., regression, classification, clustering)
Domain Knowledge : Exposure to fraud prevention, risk modelling, or operational analytics is a plus.
Communication : Strong ability to distill complex data into compelling insights and influence stakeholders.
Collaboration : Proven track record of working effectively in cross‑functional teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics) or equivalent experience; advanced degree a plus.
