Job description

Key responsibilities

  • Food Preparation & Cooking : Execute dishes to the highest standard, focusing on precision and quality. Prepare ingredients and ensure the smooth operation of your assigned kitchen station.
  • Team Collaboration : Work alongside the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to maintain a productive and efficient kitchen, supporting junior staff and helping ensure timely service.
  • Quality & Hygiene Standards : Uphold strict food safety and hygiene protocols, consistently ensuring that food presentation and taste meet the restaurant's high standards.
  • Inventory & Mise en Place Management : Manage daily preparation, stock rotation, and ingredient usage to minimize waste while ensuring all items are ready for service.
  • The right candidate will need to have to following :
  • Previous Fine Dining Experience or Similar : Proven experience working in high-end, fine dining establishments where attention to detail, quality, and presentation are essential.
  • Advanced Culinary Techniques : Expertise in sophisticated cooking methods along with the ability to execute the classic techniques to a high standard.
  • High-Pressure Environment : Ability to perform efficiently under pressure during busy services while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Knowledge of Menu Development : Experience in contributing to or executing complex and innovative menus, with a strong understanding of seasonal ingredients and creative dish composition.
