ABOUT THE JOB Due to continued growth, were hiring an Audit Manager You'll play a vital role in client relationship management, team development, and ensuring quality audit delivery aligned with evolving regulatory standards. The role suits someone who enjoys balancing hands-on audit work with strategic input and people leadership in a supportive, high-performance environment. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of audit clients across a range of industries Lead the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignments in line with internal and external standards Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing timely and practical advice Oversee the work of junior team members, providing technical guidance and on-the-job coaching Review audit files and ensure the delivery of high-quality, insightful reports Support team resourcing, workflow planning, and delivery to deadlines Contribute to the firms technical knowledge base and support internal training Play a part in new business initiatives and contribute to proposals and client pitches Champion a culture of integrity, quality, and collaboration across your team Your Skills & Experience Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) Several years' experience in audit within a professional services environment Strong understanding of auditing and financial reporting standards (IFRS / FRS) Previous experience managing client relationships and leading audit teams High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality outcomes Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing competing deadlines Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Passion for developing others, with experience mentoring or training junior staff Tech-savvy, with experience using audit / accounting software and a strong grasp of Excel Commercial awareness and a solutions-driven mindset For further information on this opportunity or if you are considering the next step in your career get in touch with Chloe Neill at HireIQ in complete confidence.
