Key Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, ensuring alignment with project specifications and compliance with local safety and building regulations.
- Participate in all preconstruction activities, including health and safety planning, technical submissions, construction drawing development, prefabrication coordination, building control documentation, and commissioning management.
- Oversee mechanical installations on-site, ensuring high-quality execution through regular inspections, progress reviews, and adherence to relevant codes and standards.
- Provide technical input and support throughout the design review process, including validation and coordination of design development.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to maintain project schedules and ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
- Manage procurement activities for all mechanical packages, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.
- Coordinate and manage interfaces with specialist contractors, ensuring seamless integration of their packages into the overall project.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar mechanical engineering role within the construction or building services sector.Degree or qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.Proven track record in delivering construction projects from design through to completion.Proficient in relevant software tools, including AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.Solid understanding of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) standards and practices.dublin #mechanical
