We're looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our fast-paced and collaborative team on a 12-month contract based in Dublin .

About the Role : In this role, you'll design and implement robust test automation for Java-based applications , web services , and APIs , while also ensuring performance and scalability through thorough load testing .

You'll work closely with cross-functional Agile teams to drive high standards of software quality from concept through delivery.

Key Responsibilities : Design and develop automated test scripts using Playwright and REST Assured Execute tests, report defects, and work with dev teams to resolve issues Integrate tests into the CI / CD pipeline for continuous feedback Own and maintain the test strategy, documentation, and reporting Conduct performance testing for web services and APIs Champion BDD / TDD practices and agile testing methodologies What We're Looking For : Proficiency in Java and experience testing web services , APIs , and Kafka Strong grasp of CI / CD tools and Agile delivery Problem-solver with keen attention to detail and a collaborative mindset Solid experience with automation frameworks and performance testing tools Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of QA experience in enterprise-level environments Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Contract Job function Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Harvey Nash by 2x
