Job type : Permanent Overview of role : UPMC Aut Even Hospital is recruiting a Healthcare Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis. Primary Duties and Responsibilities : Perform patient observations.Maintain infection control policies and procedures.Manage stocks of linen, treatment room supplies, solutions, and office stationery as requested by the Ward Manager or Deputy.Ensure cleanliness and sterility of bedside equipment.Prepare the bed and patient environment for post-operative care.Escort patients to other departments.Qualifications & Experience : Completed a relevant Care Skills course to at least FETAC Level 5 or equivalent.Previous relevant experience in a hospital or nursing home setting is essential.Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.Equal Opportunity Statement and Benefits : UPMC is an equal opportunity employer.
