Technical Sales Specialist CREGG is seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Sales Representative to join our clients growing commercial team. This is a full-time, field-based position focused on driving sales and building strong relationships within the laboratory equipment and consumables industry across Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and delivering tailored lab solutions to clients across sectors such as pharmaceutical, biotechnological, medical device, education, and research. Key Responsibilities : Achieving Regional Sales and Margin targets as set by the company. Meeting KPIs and maintaining appropriate customer related sales information within ProspectSoft Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organising daily work schedule to call on existing and potential sales outlets and other trade factors. Sustain rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities Develop sales across the company portfolio of Instrumentation and Consumable agencies. Co-operate effectively with Internal Sales Team, Sales Specialists and engineering Team to maximise Client Engagement Activities Monitors competition by gathering and relaying current marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery schedules and merchandising techniques. Contribute to the relationship management with our laboratory suppliers, developing business relationships and engaging with manufacturers in joint customer activities. Have a willingness to undertake appropriate amounts of travel both within and outside of Ireland. Recommends changes in product portfolio, service, and policy by evaluating results, new vendors and competitive developments. This is a Field Based role with expectation that 60% of time engaged in customer appointments. Qualifications and Skills : Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit. Practical experience of General Laboratory Techniques is beneficial. A third level science degree is highly desirable.
