Storage Specialist (Senior)

The following non-exhaustive list of Key Deliverables, are applicable to this Role. Manages and supports HPe SAN solutions. To work with department’s technical and functional staff to analyse requirements and performance issues with the SAN arrays. Perform firmware upgrades as required. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAN related issues. Manage dedicated SAN Fiber Channel network and inter site fibre links Planning and supporting IT Projects To ensure the ongoing stability and overall health of the SAN Arrays environment, including the physical hardware. Evaluate and apply any necessary security patches, hotfixes, service packs and hardware updates. Server administration on the following OS's Windows server 2012, 2016, 2019 and 2022 Linux / Unix Incident analysis and resolution Developing custom reports as required. Resource and Capacity Planning. Documentation of critical tasks. Operating within an ITIL environment
