Software Engineering & Development Vice President (VP) Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid (Kilkenny, Ireland) | €107,500 Are you a strategic technology leader with deep engineering expertise and a passion for secure systems?

We're hiring a Vice President – Software Engineering & Development to lead a team working on identity governance and access management (IAM / IGA) systems that underpin global technology operations.

This is a full-time, permanent role based in Kilkenny , offering a hybrid working model and a salary of €107,500 .

You'll be part of a team building next-generation cybersecurity solutions for complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities : Lead a team of SailPoint engineers to deliver secure and scalable IAM / IGA solutions.

Work with business and technical leads to define requirements and architecture.

Drive solution design and hands-on development of security platforms.

Oversee coding standards, code review, testing, and deployment activities.

Develop and maintain technical documentation and support materials.

Provide subject matter expertise in resolving complex, multi-system production issues.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage technical dependencies and risks.

Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-scale IAM or IGA programs in complex organisations.

Minimum 6–8 years of experience in software development and systems architecture.

Strong understanding of IAM principles and governance.

Background in cybersecurity, particularly in large financial or regulated environments.

Technical Expertise Proficiency in at least one core programming language (e.g., Java , Python ).

Experience with IAM / IGA platforms such as SailPoint , ServiceNow , Azure AD , or AWS IAM .

Familiarity with QA and testing practices across secure environments.

Strong architectural and design experience in enterprise-scale systems.

Comfortable working with cloud environments , scripting (UNIX / Windows), and source control tools (e.g.

GitHub ).
